Role Overview: As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in helping children and young adults develop the skills they need to thrive in daily life activities. Your responsibilities will include: Assessing children and young adults with various needs including sensory, motor, emotional and social skills. Developing and implementing evidence-based and individualised therapy plans. Collaborating with families, multidisciplinary teams and educators to ensure holistic care. Supporting children to reach their goals by improving functional independence and well-being. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records. About You: The ideal candidate must have: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. Registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency). Experience working with children and young adults, preferably in a clinic or community-based setting Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills A commitment to professional development and continuous learning A positive, empathetic, and child-centered approach to therapy Willingness to participate in joint speech and occupational therapy sessions Familiarity with DIR/Floortime approach NDIS Worker Screening Clearance A full drivers license and your own car is essential for mobile visits 2 years of full-time work experience necessary Why Work With Us: Flexible Hours: We offer part-time hours that can be tailored to your availability.
