Bidfood Adelaide is looking for a confident and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative at our Gillman branch. This is an inbound, phone-based role – no cold calling, no outbound sales. As the first point of contact for many of our customers, you’ll be the friendly voice that helps them place orders, find what they need and feel supported. You’ll also respond to emails, assist with onboarding new customers and support our sales reps with day-to-day service and coordination. About the role Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, this position is responsible for providing a high level of customer service over the phone and to external customers in addition to performing other administrative tasks and reports. Training on our in-house systems will be provided. Shifts are rostered 5 days per week from 8am-9pm covering Sunday to Thursday. You’ll work closely with our sales reps and sales manager to ensure customers are well looked after and systems stay up-to-date. The role will also require you to: Answer inbound phone calls and take orders Build trusted relationships with regular customers Respond to emails and product enquiries Process orders accurately using internal software Onboard new customers and assign to sales reps Liaise with sales reps and managers to resolve service issues Maintain accurate customer and product records About you You’re someone who genuinely enjoys helping others, communicates clearly and stays composed under pressure. Whether it’s a busy phone day or a complex customer query, you bring professionalism, warmth and a can-do attitude to your work. If you’ve worked in hospitality, retail, administration, call centres, reception, or even fast-paced medical or logistics environments, your ability to multitask, stay organised and build rapport will be highly regarded.
