Event Function Coordinator
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming calls and emails related to large group bookings, events, and reservations ensuring a 24-hour response time is adhered to.
- Event planning and execution from initial sale to the day of delivery, ensuring events are executed seamlessly.
- Participates in customer site inspections while actively pursuing new business and partnerships.
- Coordinates and communicates function details both verbally and in writing to all stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Greet customers during the event phase and ensure all set up and agreed timing as per the contract and run sheet.
- Delivers excellent customer service and communication throughout the entire experience.
- Supports the operations team in delivery of events and adhere to all standards, policies, and procedures.
- Follows up with customer post-event.
- Responds to and handles guest problems and complaints, while using personal judgment and expertise to enhance the customer experience.
- Manage accounting and financial processes including invoicing and collecting payments.
- General office and admin duties including report forecasts, run sheet and signage creation.
- Manage all AV requirements and ensure all function equipment is kept in good order.
