Your new role: As the Senior Administration Officer, you'll play a key role in ensuring efficient and high-quality administrative support for the Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Service. You will provide leadership, coordination, and expert administrative assistance to enable smooth and effective service delivery. Supervise and coordinate administrative operations, including rostering, workload management, recruitment, and staff development. Deliver high-level front office, reception, and customer service support to staff, consumers, carers, and visitors. Manage a range of administrative functions including data entry, correspondence, records management, and financial processes using Queensland Health systems (e.g. CIMHA, HBCIS, ieMR). Contribute to service improvement initiatives, ensuring efficient processes and compliance with quality and safety standards. About you: You are a highly organised, proactive, and adaptable professional who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You take pride in providing excellent customer service and supporting a collaborative team culture. Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality administrative and reception support within a mental health or multidisciplinary service. Strong digital literacy, with advanced skills in Microsoft Office and health information systems such as CIMHA, HBCIS, and ieMR. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across diverse teams and stakeholders.
