About the role As an Allied Health Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting clinical services and ensuring smooth delivery of patient care within the Allied Health Department. In this role, you will:  Assist with clinical assessments and treatments under professional supervision.  Support program delivery and contribute to quality improvement activities.  Work collaboratively with clinicians and patients to deliver safe, effective care.  Maintain accurate records and assist with coordination of equipment and supplies.  Promote culturally safe, inclusive, and patient-focused service delivery. Requirements  Possession of Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance (or equivalent) certificates/qualifications or progression towards completion would be highly desirable.  Mandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences.  C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.  Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.  Blue Card Checks: This role provides health, counselling and support services and is deemed regulated employment under the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000. You must hold a Working with Children Blue Card prior to appointment to this position.
