Help shape how Australians connect with one of the nation’s most iconic lotteries and directly support veterans and their families through your work. This newly created role leads the product marketing function within RSL Queensland’s Dream Home Art Union, Australia’s largest not-for-profit prize home lottery. You’ll own the strategy, creative direction, and performance of campaigns that reach their sizeable customer base, while helping transform how RSL engages and retains its loyal player base. The opportunity Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Digital, you’ll lead a talented team of two Marketing Managers (VIP and Non-VIP) and six specialists to drive growth across email, SMS and emerging digital channels. With the rollout of a new Martech platform (Braze) next year, you’ll help design the customer journeys, creative and data strategy that connect subscribers and new customers across every touchpoint. You’ll balance creativity with commercial acumen - testing and learning across owned channels to increase engagement, retention and revenue. This is a pivotal leadership role with the freedom to overhaul creative approaches, evolve channel strategies and set the bar for how data-driven storytelling delivers tangible results. What you’ll do Lead marketing strategy, planning and execution across owned channels (email, SMS, app notifications) Oversee marketing for both subscription (VIP) and non-VIP portfolios, driving engagement, revenue and customer movement between segments Partner with CX, Data Science and Marketing Automation teams to evolve segmentation, personalisation and performance tracking Shape the creative and copy direction across campaigns, ensuring messaging resonates and delivers results Drive continuous optimisation using customer insights, analytics and experimentation Lead, mentor and inspire a growing team to deliver meaningful impact and commercial performance What you’ll bring 10 years’ experience leading large-scale multi-channel marketing programs in commercial or retail environments Proven success running owned channel programs (email, SMS, app, push) at scale Experience using data and insights to drive creative and commercial outcomes Strong leadership skills and the ability to uplift and inspire marketing teams Curiosity, adaptability and a desire to bring creative ideas to life within a purpose-driven organisation Why join RSL Queensland RSL Queensland exists to serve and support veterans and their families - a mission that’s been at the heart of the organisation for over 100 years.
