Where you'll be working The Nursing and Midwifery Directorate in the Vanderfield Building, on site at Royal North Shore Hospital Campus, St Leonards. What You'll Be Doing The Administration Officer Nursing and Midwifery Workforce is responsible for providing high quality, customer-focused workforce services to the Nursing and Midwifery Directorate with a particular emphasis on recruitment and selection, onboarding, personnel administration and customer service. The Administration Officer provides a range of administrative services to enable timely, reliable and accurate nursing and midwifery recruitment and onboarding services. The Administration Officer will work closely with the Nurse Manager Nursing and Midwifery Workforce to support day-to-day recruitment and onboarding processes and contribute to recruitment and retention strategies for ongoing workforce initiatives. The Administration Officer will be able to work independently within the appropriate legal, policy and procedural guidelines and make decisions within the scope of duties and set own work priorities to ensure delivery of efficient and effective customer-focused services. Candidates Will Need To Meet The Following Criteria Relevant administrative experience working in a Human Resources or transactional service environment, preferably within a large, complex organisation.Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to establish positive working relationships with staff at all levels and external parties.Proven ability to work in a high volume and demanding environment with proven capacity to manage concurrent priorities of a diverse nature.Demonstrated initiative, accuracy, attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
