Connect People are seeking a Fleet Coordinator for an immediate start in Cremorne, VIC . Our client is a leading infrastructure services company operating across Australia and New Zealand, delivering projects in telecommunications, infrastructure, education, and defence with a strong focus on safety, innovation, and community impact. Key roles and responsibilities: Coordinate fleet acquisitions, replacements, disposals, and maintenance to ensure efficiency and minimise idle assets. Oversee the Group Fleet (vehicles, utes/trucks, excavators, etc.), supporting client proposals, project mobilisation/demobilisation, lifecycle management, performance optimisation, and compliance oversight. Support financial and leasing strategies to achieve optimal outcomes. Contribute to the LV Modernisation Project (700 vehicles) and drive initiatives to improve stakeholder experience. What's on offer: Pay rate: $50.00 p/h Contract length: 27/10/2025 - 31/09/2026 (possibility for extension) Monday - Friday with flexible start times with a hybrid set up once established. 8 hour days. No overtime required. Company shutdown Dec 19 - Jan 9. Key requirements: Mandatory: Experience in the vehicle industry or fleet leasing, strong knowledge of fleet regulations (safety, weight, vehicle specs), excellent communication, and teamwork skills. Preferred: Understanding of procurement and contract management, strong analytical skills, experience with ERP asset/finance functions (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and intermediate Excel proficiency.
