ACADEMIC LEADER - YEAR GROUP (Salary Leadership 3 Release 0.35) Full-time, contracted position, commencing Term 1, 2026 The Academic Leader for a year group is a member of the Academic Leader team and the Student Care team, inspired by the highest Marist ideals and the strategic priorities of the College. The Academic Leader works to optimise the academic engagement and academic growth of all students in their year group to strive for excellence. As the delegated leader of academics for a specific year group in the College, the role is responsible for all students in their Year group during the school day, with input to the evening study program. He/she will operate in partnership with the Head of Year and the Leader of Wellbeing & Formation to ensure a comprehensive and cohesive structure for the academic leadership and management of students. Applications are invited from highly experienced educators from within any teaching discipline who can demonstrate a high level of student academic care. The successful applicant will be an exceptional teacher, possess a high degree of organisational and interpersonal skills and a willingness to consolidate and further advance well-established current structures.
