About the Role French Teacher (Term 1 2026 Contract) St Aloysius' College is seeking to appoint an experienced and passionate French Teacher to inspire and cultivate the linguistic excellence and cultural appreciation in our students. As a member of our experienced and dedicated Languages Department, you will utilise your expertise to teach French to senior school (7-12) students. This role is responsible for teaching students at all levels of proficiency (Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced) and is instrumental in cultivating a strong foundation in language skills, emphasising the importance of listening, reading, speaking and writing. The French Teacher will demonstrate contemporary pedagogy and share a passion for innovation, developing and implementing innovative teaching programs that engage, enrich and inspire students learning. They will also create a welcoming, safe, and supportive environment, conducive to meeting the educational needs of students, and demonstrate a deep commitment to the wellbeing of each student. The successful candidate will be a fluent French language speaker with proven experience teaching Stage 4 and 5 French. The ability to teach Stage 6 French is advantageous though not essential. This is a full-time, temporary position (Long Service Leave cover) for Term 1 of the 2026 academic year.
