Clayfield provides outstanding opportunities beyond the regular curriculum, and across all ages, so every child has the opportunity to let their light shine The Opportunity The Director of Corporate Services leads the College’s Corporate Leadership Team (CLT) with responsibility for Finance, ICT, Human Resources, Operations, Compliance, Risk and Facilities. Working in close partnership with the Principal, Senior Leadership Team (SLT), and PMSA Group Office Executives, the Director provides strategic and operational oversight of the College’s business and operational functions, enabling the delivery of high-quality educational outcomes. This position will: Serve as the Principal’s primary advisor on finance, policies, operations, business processes and risk management. Provide strategic and operational leadership for major capital projects, financial planning and compliance frameworks. Foster a high-performing, collaborative and innovative workplace culture. Ensure the College’s resources are managed responsibly and aligned with its strategic vision and values. The role is central to ensuring the long-term sustainability, growth and success of the College. Key areas of responsibility include (abridged – see Applicant Information Pack for more details): Team Management and Leadership Lead, mentor and develop the Corporate Services team across Finance, ICT, HR, Operations and Facilities. Foster a culture of innovation, adaptability and continuous improvement. Support recruitment, onboarding, growth and professional development across the portfolio. Promote strong communication, collaboration and problem-solving across all teams. Champion the College’s Christian ethos, values and culture in daily leadership. Business and Operational Management Oversee the finance function including financial planning, reporting, budgeting, forecasting and compliance in collaboration with the Finance Manager and PMSA CFO. Manage College governance, risk, insurance and compliance frameworks in line with PMSA and school policies. Lead planning and delivery of major capital works projects and asset management. Provide strategic oversight of ICT to ensure technology supports learning and administration effectively. Ensure efficient management of campus operations including facilities, contracts, catering, cleaning, security and grounds. Drive continuous improvement in systems, processes and service delivery across corporate functions. Lead workforce planning and change initiatives to ensure sustainable organisational growth. Work with the PMSA on the implementation of group wide initiatives, policies and procedures. Provide expert advice to the Principal, SLT and PMSA Group Office on College business practices, policies and performance indicators. This role commences in Term 1, 2026 (or earlier by negotiation). About You The ideal candidate will be a values-aligned, future-focused executive leader with strong business acumen and a proven record of achievement across complex organisations. You will demonstrate: Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Economics, Finance or a related discipline. Substantial senior or executive experience in financial and operational leadership. Proven success in leading cross-functional teams across finance, operations, HR, ICT and facilities. Strong financial and governance expertise with the ability to act as a trusted advisor. Demonstrated ability to lead change, manage risk and deliver strategic outcomes. Outstanding interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
