The Opportunity As part of our Risk & Governance division within La Trobe Financial your primary function will be to assist in providing independent, objective assurance and consulting activities designed to add value and improve operations. The role entails bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes Key Responsibilities Provide independent and objective assurance over key business processes Assist in the preparation of periodic reporting to the relevant management and board committees Carry out assurance activities performed in hindsight reviews of loan files and compliance reviews Carry out ad hoc inspections, investigations, reviews or validations as requested by management, and report on findings Carry out cyclical reviews as detailed in the relevant Compliance Plans About You Tertiary qualification in Banking & Finance or a related field 1-3 years’ experience within the Banking/Financial Services Industry or an Assurance/Risk management role in a professional services firm Strong organisational, time management and decision making skills Strong administrative skills and a high attention to detail Excellent report writing, presentation and interpersonal skills A positive attitude and ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment Employee Benefits We’re all about balance -Delivering great work and enjoying the journey.
