Ready to take your next step in your career? DWF (Proclaim) is seeking a hands-on Payment and Reporting Officer to join our Melbourne-based team on a full-time basis. This is a dual role as a Payment officer and Reporting Coordinator which will involve utilisation of internal & external systems to input local and international EFT payments on behalf of all business units. It also involves daily allocation of funds, preparing monthly reports as a part of Reporting Coordinator role. Working closely with the Account Managers, Reporting team, Finance team, this role involves daily processing of payments, reporting, allocation and reconciliation. This role is key to delivering accurate, timely and efficient payments and an improved internal customer experience, as well as superior service results for our clients. Responsibilities Payment Officer Duties Entering and processing of EFT payments in systems on behalf of all business units to clients, claimants, vendors and other third parties Reviewing payment requests, checking GST calculations and other invoice details Solve problems relating to payments to improve processing productivity and quality Liaising with Internal and external stakeholder on payment processing related queries Setting up new service providers in system Daily reporting on outstanding payments Uploading payment files in the Propel & other payment systems Verify payment recipients are compliant with client requirements using sanction checking software Reporting Coordinator Duties Preparing and reconciling monthly claims payment (bordereaux) reports for external stakeholders Creating fund request in Internal Claim Management system Daily allocation of funds to respective accounts Undertaking reconciliation of financial (trust) accounts Management of teams’ mailbox which includes responding to existing and new report related queries, account funding related queries Supporting the achievement of company goals and vision Identify, test and implement process improvements to enhance payment efficiency Support other team members as required Skills Accuracy Computer skills – Usage of internal & external payment systems functionality Time management and demonstrated ability to prioritise and multi task and meet deadlines Strong verbal and written communication Intermediate level excel skills Ability to liaise with stakeholders (internal and external) and vendors Attention to detail and quality Technical Skills Ability to use computer programs – Excel, Microsoft office, Outlook Competent use of Proclaim Propel system and internal & external payment system Understanding of Proclaim processes and procedures Understanding of compliance requirements Who we are: DWF is a leading global provider of integrated legal and business services.
