About the Opportunity The VCCC Alliance is seeking an innovative and proactive individual to join us as an eLearning Designer. This exciting opportunity focuses on developing and enhancing our collaborative eLearning initiatives and strategies. You will work across the VCCC Alliance’s various programs and partner organizations to create engaging learning experiences that improve education throughout the cancer sector. As the eLearning Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing the VCCC Alliance's comprehensive eLearning programs, reporting to the Associate Director of Education and under the guidance of the Director of Education. You will prioritize stakeholder needs and co-create tailored digital learning resources that foster impactful learning experiences. As program and strategic goals evolve, the focus of this role will adapt accordingly. In this dynamic position, team members are encouraged to take ownership of their responsibilities while fostering collaboration through effective communication and teamwork. Responsibilities Include: Plan, develop, promote, deliver, evaluate, and review interactive online courses, eLearning projects and programs with subject matter experts within the VCCC Alliance and external agencies. Craft courses that seamlessly integrate rich multimedia content—video, animation, simulations to increase engagement. Manage course builds, updates, and content libraries across LMS platforms Collaborate with content experts, VCCC Alliance education team members, and the Melbourne School of Professional and Continuing Education at the University of Melbourne to develop micro-credentialed online subjects tailored to meet the needs of the cancer workforce. Work alongside the Communications Team and Events Coordinator to effectively promote education and training programs to both internal and external stakeholders through various channels, including presentations, articles, social media, and newsletters. Ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of all education and training projects while meeting stakeholder satisfaction. Provide mentorship and guidance to colleagues within the VCCC Alliance education team and relevant partners, sharing expertise in eLearning and adult education. Collaborate with the Senior Manager of Consumer Involvement to develop a consumer engagement strategy, monitor metrics, and report on relevant program outcomes. Actively contribute to internal meetings by sharing updates, knowledge, and innovative ideas, while encouraging a culture of excellence and improvement. About you: You will have significant experience as an eLearning Designer, managing multiple priorities and collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders and sources to design effective learning content. With strong relationship-building expertise. You will: Have experience in learner-centred design and e-learning educational content development Have experience in evaluating a variety of both face-to-face and e-learning educational events to ensure continuous improvement and meet reporting requirements Be comfortable working with a range of stakeholders, from clinicians and researchers to academics and students, with well-practised relationship management skills Have proven organisational ability with experience in prioritising effectively across multiple projects and organising others to an agreed schedule Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (including PowerPoint). You may also have a level of skill using an LMS, and/or online tools such as Canvas, visme, Canva or the like, desirable, not essential Hold a tertiary degree (or postgraduate qualification) in a relevant discipline such as education, public health, science or research and/or extensive relevant work experience.
