If yes, then read on… We are an electrical contracting company based in the Gold Coast Queensland with multiple projects in electrical maintenance, solar and air conditioning running throughout the area. Our business is expanding, and to meet demand we now require a highly skilled, talented and motivated Electrician to join our growing business. Your key responsibilities will include: · Install, maintain, and repair electrical, split system air conditioning and solar and battery systems in homes and businesses. · Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues. · On large jobs, review of project plans and specifications to ensure a complete understanding of the project. · Liaising with builder for daily site co-ordination. · Manage our sub-contractors to ensure project timelines are met. · Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to OH&S policies. · Manage inventory of parts and materials, reporting low stock as needed. · Maintain all tools and equipment to a high standard. · Mentor apprentice electricians and less experienced team members as and when required. To be successful, you will: · Hold a current Queensland Electrical Licence (or have the ability to obtain one) · Possess a current Construction White Card (SWMS) · Current First Aid and CPR/LVR certification · Be punctual and reliable. · Be able to accurately read specifications and interpret plans. · Have strong communication skills. · Have high attention to detail and high-quality finishes. · Coordinate tasks and perform jobs in an efficient manner. · Possess a positive, motivated attitude. · Provide excellent customer service. · Be able to communicate in a clear and courteous manner. · Be able to work well in a team environment. · Be flexible and able to work autonomously. Preferred Qualifications: · Experience with both residential and commercial projects · Familiarity with smart home technologies · Solar installation experience · Split System AC experience · Project management experience · Working at Heights certification · Confined Space certification (advantageous) Ideally you will have at least 5 years post-apprenticeship electrical experience in residential and commercial projects, with demonstrated competency in electrical maintenance, solar installations, and air conditioning systems. You will hold a current driver's license.
