About the role As an ADAS calibration technician at Gold Coast Collision Centre, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and performance of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) in vehicles. This full-time position is based in Burleigh Heads, Queensland. You will be responsible for calibrating and repairing these critical automotive systems to the highest standards. What you'll be doing Perform precise calibrations of ADAS sensors and components following manufacturer specifications post repair including pre and post scans using Autel equipment Diagnose and troubleshoot any issues with ADAS systems Repair or replace faulty ADAS components as needed Maintain detailed records of all ADAS-related work Collaborate with the broader automotive repair team to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow Stay up-to-date with the latest ADAS technologies and calibration techniques What we're looking for Formal training or qualifications in automotive technology or a related field, with either a mechanical or auto electrical background Proven experience as an ADAS calibration technician or similar role or a willingness to undertake further training Strong understanding of ADAS systems, including cameras, radar, and lidar technologies Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work Good communication skills to liaise with customers and the repair team What we offer At Gold Coast Collision Centre, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
