Overview Established in 2009 in Melbourne, Australia, Satellite Foundation is an accessible, caring not-for-profit organisation that connects and empowers young people who have a family member living with mental health challenges. This may also include young people in families experiencing challenges with substance use, family conflict or violence, complex trauma, or other adverse life circumstances. As we approach a significant transition with the upcoming retirement of our CEO and co-founder Rose Cuff at the end of 2025, Satellite Foundation seeks a visionary leader to guide our organisation into its next chapter. We are looking for someone who shares our commitment to empowering young people and can lead with compassion, innovation, and strategic foresight. Role The CEO will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Satellite Foundation, ensuring the delivery of our strategic objectives, and maintaining a culture that reflects our values. This includes overseeing program development, fostering stakeholder relationships, ensuring financial sustainability, and leading a dedicated team. About you We are looking for someone who listens to, learns from, works with and advocates for young people. You lead with vision and purpose, inspiring others to contribute to a shared direction. With deep knowledge of the youth mental health sector in Victoria, you can demonstrate experience in developing and delivering organisational strategy and have an excellent track record of engaging and inspiring diverse stakeholders.
