You will manage the grocery and administrative functions of Booth’s Food Kingdom Grocery Store, in line with The Salvation Army (TSA) mission and values. How you will make an impact You will be experienced in Leading, growing and developing a team of paid employees and volunteers Ensuring extraordinary customer service is provided every day, in every interaction Embedding exceptional operational and visual merchandise standards Role-modelling a ‘safety first’ culture in our stores Planning and managing the financial performance of the store Building and supporting the volunteer workforce and engaging with the local community What you will be bring Previous experience in retail management and/or customer service Proven experience in stock control and ordering Sound experience in Square POS software and Microsoft Office programs Demonstrated excellent people-management skills with an emphasis on volunteers and the community Communicate with integrity to network positively with all stakeholders Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively Knowledge of workplace health and safety obligations and to implement in line with TSA values Experience in supporting vulnerable people who are in crisis A valid driver’s licence. A current First Aid certificate, or willingness to obtain one. A reasonable level of physical fitness to meet the demands of the role. Current forklift licence, or willingness to obtain one.
