The position available is: Closed-term full-time (6 month contract) Working Monday to Friday Based in Camperdown Attractive salary of $100,700 per annum Super Tax-Free Salary Packaging. About the Opportunity The Project Officer – Accommodation Services will assist with project development as directed by the Regional Manager – Accommodation. Partnering with Sydney Local Health District, the position will lead efforts to enhance Collaborative Care Planning in Flourish Australia’s Accommodation Services. This role involves working with people accessing services, carers, clinicians, and community organisations to implement person-led approaches and improve mental health outcomes. On a day to day basis, you will: Coordination, administrative and research activities to assist in the timely completion of specific projects or initiatives. Assisting in monitoring and tracking the projects deliverables and outcomes including preparation of reports in relation to schedule and resources. Research and analyse best practice models both locally and internationally. Develop standardised tools and documentation for collaborative care planning. Trial and refine processes within partnership accommodation units. Support scalability across the Sydney Local Health District and the wider Statewide PCLI network. Reporting fortnightly to key stakeholders of the progress of the project. Identifying suitable models of service for the project assigned. Strengthening and diversifying our partnerships with key stakeholders and other local organisations and services. Supporting the Regional Manager and staff with evaluation processes. Monitoring the outcome of implemented strategies. Navigating, influencing and negotiating with public sector and community-based services for the delivery of appropriate supports in accordance with an individual’s recovery goals. Developing, implementing and reviewing recommendations from service reviews with guidance of the Program Manager. Playing a key role in the performance of the program to meet project milestones, delivering tangible benefits. Working collaboratively with all Accommodation Services team members. To find out more about this role, please read the Position Description . Selection Criteria Essential: Tertiary qualifications in behavioural sciences, research, or project management. Demonstrated skills in project management. A strong commitment to, and expert understanding of, recovery-based practice in the workplace. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and expert knowledge of data information management systems. Demonstrated ability to collate and analyse data and prepare written reports. Proven ability to work independently, with initiative and take direction as required. Demonstrated experience with facilitating multi-disciplinary coordinated planning where multiple providers work together to wrap-around services. Strong time management and organisational skills and proven capacity to prioritise work commitments. Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures, and to work as part of a multidisciplinary teams across multiple sites to develop collaborative relationships and networks between agencies. Current unrestricted Australian drivers licence. Desirable: A personal lived experience of a mental health issue OR a carer of a person with a lived experience.
