Health & Safety Officer – Construction (Nowra) • Contract role through to end of 2025 • Immediate start – Major building project • Work with a leading main builder About the Role We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Officer to join our team on a key building project based in Nowra, NSW . This is a contract position through until the end of the year , with the potential for extension for the right candidate. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring compliance with WHS legislation, maintaining site safety standards, and supporting our project teams to deliver a safe and productive work environment. Key Responsibilities Monitor and promote safe work practices across the site Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and company policies Lead toolbox talks and safety meetings Support incident investigations and reporting Provide advice and support to site and project management teams About You Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar HSE role within construction Solid understanding of WHS legislation and construction safety requirements Strong communication and leadership skills Relevant WHS qualifications (minimum Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety) Ability to start immediately and commit through to end of 2025 How to Apply If you’re a proactive Health & Safety professional ready to hit the ground running, we’d love to hear from you.
