Job Title: Workspace & Collaboration Engineer Location: Melbourne Employment Type: Contract About Us: We are seeking a highly skilled Workspace & Collaboration Engineer to join our client's dynamic Collaboration Engineering team. This role is integral to ensuring our workplace and collaboration platforms are secure, reliable, and continuously evolving to meet business needs. You will work on both operational and project activities, contributing to architecture, strategy, and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Support operational and project activities across all collaboration and workplace systems. Ensure availability, confidentiality, and integrity of collaboration platforms. Contribute to platform architecture, strategic roadmaps, and buildouts. Drive continuous improvement, automation, and reduction of technical debt. Provide Level 3 engineering support for in-office technology platforms, meeting room hardware, and collaboration portals. Manage incidents, adhere to SLAs, proactively monitor systems, and perform problem management. Lead onboarding, installation, configuration, and support of collaboration systems. Engage with vendors, maintain documentation, and keep knowledge bases up to date. Key Skills & Experience: Strong experience with video conferencing equipment (e.g., Cisco, MTRoW / MTRoA). Deep working knowledge of Microsoft Teams (Teams Admin Center, Meeting Room management). Experience with Cisco Unified Communications / CUCM and telephony (SIP, VoIP). Excellent skills in Windows / macOS environments, including client hardware & peripherals. Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow), monitoring tools, and ITIL or equivalent best practices. Comfortable working in agile/DevOps models, with exposure to Jira / Confluence . Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
