About the Role This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the fast-paced world of capital markets and has a sharp eye for detail, strong numerical capability, and the ability to execute trades and manage administrative processes with precision. You'll work closely with senior dealers and operations leaders, assisting with trade execution, client onboarding, compliance tasks, and day-to-day operational support across multiple capital markets activities. Key Responsibilities include: Executing client orders accurately and efficiently in line with compliance and operational standards. Managing and maintaining the Daily Trade Register (DTR) to ensure data accuracy and timely settlements. Supporting client onboarding, including AML/KYC checks and account setup. Assisting with capital raisings, IPOs, and placements (documentation, cash positions, and client communication). Providing administrative and compliance support to senior team members. Acting as a backup for senior dealers to ensure continuous coverage and seamless execution. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same - you'll gain end-to-end exposure to the trading lifecycle and play a key role in enabling the firm's next phase of growth. About You You're a proactive, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic, high-performance environment. You enjoy working with numbers, have a keen interest in markets, and take pride in getting things right the first time. To be successful, you will ideally have: 4 years' experience in a broking, trading, or investment operations environment. Solid understanding of trade execution or middle-office processes (equities, derivatives, or fixed income). High numerical aptitude and excellent analytical skills. Proficiency in Excel (pivots, VLOOKUPs, formulas). Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with clients and counterparties. RG146 accreditation (preferred but not essential - training can be provided). A "can-do" attitude, with the ability to stay calm and focused under pressure.
