The role: This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled accountant who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. Your responsibilities will include: Managing a portfolio of clients across various industries Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for a range of entity types Assisting senior accountants and managers with tax and business advisory work Delegating tasks and reviewing work completed by junior staff Providing guidance and oversight to graduates as part of your leadership development Contributing to advisory services tailored to the needs of your client base What they are looking for: A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Australian Public Practice CA or CPA qualified, or progressing towards completion Someone who actually wants to help clients and teammates Proficiency in Xero (essential) and MYOB (preferred) Familiarity with Australian tax legislation including Div 7A, CGT, FBT, and general compliance Experience managing or preparing reports for large group structures Payroll experience (advantageous) High attention to detail and strong analytical thinking Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines A proactive, self-starting attitude and commitment to client service excellence.
