Reporting to the Demand Planning Team Leader, this role will play a key part in the strategic management of stock by identifying trends and make forecasts of customer demands. About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a new Demand Planner within a close-knit team. Responsibilities will include: Work closely with the Commercial Team to monitor and analyse forecast and market trends to determine purchasing requirements and supply schedules Proactively monitor stock levels to identify supply gaps and resolve unforeseen material shortage Communicate with key stakeholders, recommending strategies and following up in corrective actions Analyse supplier and service provider’s performance to ensure timely business communication Drive continuous improvement within the demand planning & purchasing space Maintain data quality on product data to ensure streamlined planning About you Experience- Prior experience in a similar role is essential, with experience working with ERP systems. Familiarity with JD Edwards would put you a step above the rest, but not required. Digitally Savvy- Medium to high proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to master new systems to the skill level of improving the digital workflow. Analytical Mindset – You will be resourceful, able to identify and assess trends within data. Organisation and Time Management – No two days are the same. You will have demonstrable experience in managing your own time and work to meet deadlines, while still maintaining high standards of work and attention to detail when under pressure.
