Starting any time from now until the new year, in this position you will work alongside another experienced heavy diesel mechanic sharing leadership of workshop operations and helping to shape the future of the farm's workshop whilst ensuring the farm fleet is ready to meet seasonal demands. Duties include co-ordinating preventative maintenance and spare parts management and working collaboratively with the workshop team to service, diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems across a variety of heavy machinery, trucks, vehicles, and farm equipment. The position is best suited to a mechanic with leadership ability and problem-solving skills with a heavy diesel (or equivalent) trade qualification and demonstrated experience maintaining agricultural, construction or transport machinery who is willing to take responsibility for workshop outcomes and enjoys sharing knowledge and mentoring junior staff in a teamworking environment.
