Role Summary The Senior Account Manager is a strategic and leadership-focused professional responsible for managing key client accounts, leading media delivery projects, and driving business growth within the APAC region. They serve as a primary client contact, overseeing the delivery of media products and services, fostering strong relationships, and leading internal and external teams. The role involves strategic promotion of the media business, proactive leadership, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Senior Account Manager acts as a bridge between clients and internal teams, ensuring high-quality execution, financial accountability, and alignment with overall business and media strategies. Role Responsibilities Client Management & Relationships: Develop and maintain strong external relationships with clients’ operational and senior stakeholders. Lead client meetings, ensuring delivery of value, capturing feedback, and identifying new business opportunities. Media Delivery & Oversight: Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of media campaigns and services, ensuring alignment with client expectations and contractual SLAs. Oversee delivery teams, providing guidance and quality assurance. Strategy Promotion & Leadership: Promote APAC media and business strategies within the team and across client portfolios. Support the adoption of strategic initiatives to enhance client outcomes and operational efficiency. Business Development & Sales Support: Identify revenue opportunities, support pitching efforts, and assist in scoping and contracting processes with a thorough understanding of legal and commercial frameworks. Financial & Resource Management: Manage budgeting, billing, invoicing, and forecasts. Provide feedback on resource allocation, onboarding of new team members, and project profitability. Product & Service Knowledge: Maintain advanced knowledge of media products, services, and platforms. Lead discussions internally and externally about media offerings, ensuring proper delivery and optimizations.Partnerships & Industry Insights: Engage in vendor and technology partner feedback forums, keep certifications current, and surface new business opportunities. Share industry insights and case studies to foster continuous learning. Team & People Development: Mentor and guide team members, participate in growth conversations, and foster a positive, collaborative team culture. Lead performance reviews and support team motivation. Research & Industry Knowledge: Dedicate time to ongoing research, share learnings internally and with clients, and incorporate insights into strategic planning. Experience and Skills Required for role: Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or higher in marketing, media, communications, business, or related fields. Experience: 5 years of experience in media account management, client servicing, or campaign delivery, with progressively increasing responsibility. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead small teams or initiatives, inspire teams, and promote leadership traits within the organization. Client Management: Strong relationship-building skills with experience managing key accounts and engaging senior stakeholders. Media Expertise: Deep understanding of media products, platforms, and services, including digital, managed media, advisory solutions, and R&A offerings. Project & Delivery Management: Demonstrated ability to oversee complex projects, ensure timeliness, quality, and contractual adherence. Financial Acumen: Proficient in managing budgets, billing, invoicing, forecasts, and resource allocation. Strategic Thinking: Ability to promote and implement media strategies aligned with business goals. Communication Skills: Excellent influencing, presentation, and negotiation skills. Capable of leading client meetings and internal discussions. Analytical & Market Insight Skills: Strong research skills, industry awareness, and an ability to leverage insights for strategic advantage.
