In this pivotal leadership role, you'll oversee our English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students (ELICOS), Study Tour programs, and our expanding Curriculum Licensing operations. Key Responsibilities As Head of John Paul International College , you will: Academic Leadership Lead our High School Preparation, Primary Preparation and Study Tour programs through strategic continuous improvement and quality assurance initiatives Drive curriculum development, innovative pedagogy, and exceptional program delivery Manage academic timetables, teaching staff, and ELICOS operations Promote JPIC through external engagement and professional networks Curriculum Licensing & Innovation Lead the development and management of our curriculum licensing operations Oversee digital platforms hosting licensed curriculum, ensuring accessibility and functionality Manage relationships with partner institutions, including contract and performance monitoring Provide training and professional development for external partners Student Experience & Welfare Ensure first-class experiences and outcomes for all international students Manage the complete student journey from pre-arrival through to graduation and transition Support our homestay and boarding programs Work closely with pastoral care teams to provide culturally sensitive student support People Leadership Recruit, induct, and develop academic and administrative staff Manage pools of casual Study Tour Educators and ELICOS teachers Build team capability through professional development programs Foster a positive growth culture across international operations Compliance & Quality Assurance Act as Academic Manager for NEAS purposes Ensure compliance with ESOS Framework, CRICOS National Code 2018, and ELICOS Standards 2018 Prepare for and manage regulatory reviews and audits Maintain relationships with accreditation and regulatory bodies Please note: This is a one-year contract position commencing in January 2026 which will have an opportunity to extend in 2027 for the right candidate. About You: We're seeking a dynamic leader who brings: Essential: Postgraduate qualifications at Masters level in Education, Applied Linguistics, TESOL or equivalent Current Queensland College of Teachers registration Proven experience in a similar leadership role within international education Track record in managing English language academic programs in a school setting Strong knowledge of International Education regulatory frameworks including ESOS Act, CRICOS National Code 2018, ELICOS Standards 2018, and NEAS standards Experience managing compliance reviews and audits Demonstrated success in building and managing partnerships with diverse stakeholders Excellent people management skills with the ability to recruit, develop and mentor teams Strong strategic planning and change management capabilities Demonstrated sensitivity to student needs and cultural differences Experience with information systems, databases and CRM systems Desirable: Experience in curriculum licensing or transnational education programs Experience managing digital learning platforms and educational technology Background in providing training and professional development to external partners Experience in international educational partnerships and offshore program delivery Why Join JPC?
