We’re looking for an accomplished General Manager to lead our expanding Independent Power Provider (IPP) Solutions business, to be based in our Perth office. Our IPP Solutions team has embarked on an exciting journey helping our customers harness the power of integrated energy solutions. This role is a key component within the Australia-Pacific region. Reporting to the AusPac Managing Director, you’ll work with the AusPac Executive Leadership Team and lead our IPP Solutions business with a dedicated team. What you'll do: Own the full P&L responsibility for the IPP Solutions business in Australia. Drive the growth in IPP Solutions projects, incorporating solar, battery energy storage systems (BESS), modular thermal power plants and hybrid power solutions. Take full accountability to deliver IPP Solutions projects on time, on budget and to specification, through the life cycle of the plant. Build and maintain relationships with customers and decision-makers in the renewable energy sector (predominately mining) to help secure IPP Solutions projects. Develop and present compelling business cases and proposals. Collaborate with key stakeholders and our global Aggreko IPP teams across United States and Europe. Manage budgets, capex, opex, and operational efficiencies to support growth and sustainability goals. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards while promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion within teams. To thrive in this role, you'll have the following skills and experience: Experience with complex IPP Solutions projects in the mining sector, including the full life cycle from business development and bid phase through to project delivery and operational through life product support. Experience building relationships with senior executives and C-level stakeholders. Success in growing and scaling a business with existing and new customers, having a background in account management, consulting, or client-focused solution development. Advanced communication and collaboration skills to partner with multiple stakeholders (including Managing Directors, Functional Leaders, Suppliers). Bachelors and Postgrad Degrees in Engineering or Business, or a related field. Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, permitting processes and environmental considerations. Strong business acumen and a history of navigating complex stakeholder organizations within different countries. A strong focus and proven track record in developing capability with teams. Establishing a culture of continuous improvement.
