The Position Core duties include: Provide care to patients in an appropriate manner Maintain detailed and accurate medical records Provide compassionate, exemplary medical treatment for a range of illnesses and conditions Prescribe medication and refer patients to specialists or testing centres as necessary Coordinate with other health professionals to ensure patients receive consistent advice and care Comply with all relevant legislation and medical regulations Normal working sessions are 8.30am-12.00pm and 2.00pm-5.00pm Monday to Friday. Medical Director software. On an approximately fortnightly basis, perform the role of Duty Dr (on the day bookings), instead of normal session, this runs from 2.00pm to 6.00pm Saturday morning 9.00am-12.00pm on a rotational basis (1 in 10) Requirements – FRACGP, FACRRM The Organisation West Tamar Health is an AGPAL accredited practice and has an experienced team of general practitioners, dermatologist, paediatrician, nurses and administration staff.
