The Position GP only. The Organisation Dates from: Monday 5th - Friday 30th January 2026. Don Medical Clinic is located in Devonport on the NW coast of Tasmania, the food bowl area of Tasmania. Known for its wonderful produce, clean air, scenic coastline and National parks. We are an Independent, GP owned, family practice with a great support team. We require Locum cover to assist our clinical team manage our patient base. This is to cover a permanent Principal GP so you can expect an active patient base. Modern premises, quality equipment, great location with lots of activities for you and your family. Approximately 4 patients/hour. We aren't looking for someone to churn lots of patients each day, we need someone to help us manage our patient's ongoing care as well as deal with the acute on the day patients. The practice uses Best Practice Software. Admin and Nursing support on site however some days you may be the only GP in the practice (minimal). Must be able to perform : General Medicine Mental health skills Training Cervical Screening Implanon Immunisations when needed. Desirables: Experience with Best Practice.
