Job summary: Flexible hours available Experienced Fabricator/Welder 1st class This established Manufacturing company is a highly regarded supplier working in Defence, Rail, and Mining. We have relocated to the beautiful Southern Highlands of NSW. A permanent full-time position is available for a motivated Senior 1st Class Fabricator/Welder. We have significant contracts that will make this role interesting, satisfying and secure. The role is a low quantity, high quality production environment. A multi-faceted Fabricator/Welder, to work on a variety of projects, working with structural, alloy, stainless and Q & T steels to Australian Standards. Certified welding to relevant Australian Welding Standards. Welding techniques include: · TIG · MIG/GMAW/FCAW · Stick/ARC · Stud & spot welding Welding standards conformed to include: · AS-1554 (part 1 to 6) · ISO -15614 Requirements: Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Competent in Mig & Tig welding to AS1554 standards Reliable with a positive work ethic Able to work through challenges with a positive approach and attention to detail Ability to collaborate with Engineers, Inspectors and Machinist to achieve consistent quality outcomes. Applicants required to have National Police Check. Desirable: CNC Press brake operation CNC Abrasive Waterjet Operation is desirable. 38 hour work week, with half day on Friday’s – Overtime available.
