Job summary: Looking for candidates available to work: Tuesday: Morning Wednesday: Morning Thursday: Morning Friday: Morning Saturday: Morning Expected salary: $40 per hour We’re seeking a friendly and reliable Venue Caretaker to join our team at 238 Castlereagh Street. This casual position involves 5 mornings per week (including one weekend), 6:00am–11:00am. About the Role You’ll be the welcoming presence in our four-storey venue outside of trading hours, ensuring the building is clean, well-presented, and ready for the day. Key duties include: Overseeing cleanliness, presentation and general maintenance of all spaces. Opening the venue each morning (disarming, lights, air-con, music, ambience). Welcoming clients, guests and suppliers with coffee/refreshments. Accepting deliveries and assisting with stocktake. Coordinating supplier access and overseeing repairs. Assisting with event set-ups, pack-downs, and client bump-ins/outs. Greeting guests and hosting site inspections when security is not present. About You Warm, personable and welcoming. Strong attention to detail, particularly regarding cleanliness and presentation. Organised, reliable and comfortable working independently.
