About the role Full time Psychologist role available, working from home alternate weeks with a one week in two requirement to deliver face to face services in remote Aboriginal Communities in Far North Queensland (Aurukun one week in 4 and Port Douglas one week in 4). This unique opportunity to improve Aboriginal mental health outcomes will see you providing high quality psychological care and counselling services within a cross-cultural setting, in a hybrid model of care. You will be well supported by our multidisciplinary team whilst working from home, and on the ground in the Community. What you'll be doing Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and developing tailored treatment plans Providing Psychological therapy using evidence-based psychological approaches Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated, holistic care Maintaining detailed client records and preparing reports as required Continuously updating your professional knowledge and skills Contributing to the growth and development of our psychology practice What we're looking for Fully registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) At least 3 years' post-registration experience in a psychologist role Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with clients Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to provide insightful treatment Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Experience in D&A counselling What we offer At Insightful Mind, we are dedicated to supporting the wellbeing of our employees.
