Our company is home to nearly 1,000 of Australia’s finest young dancers, singers, and actors — training intensely for greatness and success. We offer programs from age 2 through to Pre-Professional Full Time Courses for adults and are proudly located in the Entertainment Quarter, Moore Park, NSW. ABOUT THE ROLE As part of the Marketing Department at Brent Street, we’re looking for a Casual Social Media & Content Coordinator to support our growing online presence. With a strong passion for content creation and social media trends, you’ll play a key role in capturing, editing, and posting engaging video, photo, and social content across Brent Street’s platforms. You’ll help maintain our social channels, respond to our community, and contribute to creative content ideas that keep Brent Street’s online voice fresh, active, and on-trend. This role reports directly to the Social Media & Content Manager. WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR An all-round content creator with skills in videography, photography, and social media content. Someone with strong graphic design skills using different platforms like Adobe and Canva. Someone TikTok and trend-savvy , always across the latest internet sounds, topics, and styles. A creator who can produce great short-form content quickly , while also valuing storytelling and longer-form pieces. Someone who’s keen to learn, contribute, and grow within an established workflow and creative direction. A strong writer and communicator who enjoys writing interesting captions for socials A self-starter who can work independently and bring ideas to life. A genuine lover of performing arts, theatre, and live entertainment. REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, InDesign, Media Encoder). Comfortable using Meta Business Suite for scheduling and managing posts. Experience and knowledge with Meta and Google Ads Desired Experience in video/photo production and social media engagement. A solid understanding of what performs best on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage assets and maintain tidy workflows. Familiar with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Teams. A current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one. DESIRED (BUT NOT ESSENTIAL) Experience in the Performing Arts or Dance industry. A distinct and developed creative aesthetic or personal style. Relevant tertiary study or experience in Marketing, Media, or Communications.
