In this position you will be responsible for: Implementation of evidence-informed literacy and numeracy practices to improve teaching, learning, and assessment across the curriculum Leading and supporting differentiated, high-impact professional learning that ensures the continual development and growth of teacher expertise in the teaching of literacy and numeracy across the curriculum Strategic leadership to strengthen the capabilities of teachers and leaders through effective collaboration Leading and supporting professional learning that promotes innovation and excellence in learning Working with colleagues to plan, teach, and evaluate the impact of evidence-informed teaching strategies for improved student outcomes across the curriculum Leading improvement in teaching, learning, and classroom practice Building the capacity and managing the performance of individuals and teams Leading staff in the effective use of data to inform teaching and learning programs Leading data analysis in the middle years and responding with appropriate action plans, policies, and procedures to explicitly seek and pursue improvements Ensuring staff are familiar with pedagogical approaches to support the individual needs of students to assist them to achieve the best possible outcomes Promoting the College's shared vision of learning and ensuring that the learning culture is visible in classrooms and being referred to in classroom observations Building a culture of continuous improvement through participation and development of the College's Explicit Improvement Plan and annual Improvement Plan Leadership Team Contribution: Working as part of the College Leadership Team to model and embed Catholic values, inspire a culture of care, connection, and excellence, and contribute to whole-of-College leadership. About you To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including: Experience as an Assistant Principal, Assistant Principal Religious Education, Deputy Principal, Head of Campus or Principal, or a senior role providing support and leadership to Catholic schools, or equivalent experience Experience in teaching, and leading the teaching of, religious education.
