About This Opportunity The Placement Coordinator (locally known as the Work Integrated Learning Partnerships Coordinator) is responsible for the administrative management of student clinical placements across the Bachelor of Nursing, Bachelor of Midwifery, Bachelor of Nursing and Midwifery (dual) and Master of Nursing Studies programs. It’s a role that’s both industry-facing and student-focused, combining process management with relationship building. You’ll be the primary point of contact for our placement partners across public and private hospitals, aged care facilities, general practices, and medical centres, helping to coordinate the large-scale logistics behind student placements. Key responsibilities will include: Coordinating and managing clinical placements, ensuring smooth operations, compliance, and accurate data management. Liaising directly with partners to confirm placement availability and resolve any issues as they arise, from last-minute rebooking’s to unexpected ward closures. Supporting students through the entire placement process, from preparation to completion, ensuring they achieve their required clinical hours each year. Building strong, trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless experience for both students and partners.
