Information Technology Services (ITS) Full-time, permanent Base salary will be in the range $93,491 - $100,296 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 6) Based at our St Lucia location About This Opportunity The primary purpose of this position is to provide high-level administrative and executive support to the Chief Information Officer, ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the Information Technology & Systems office. This role works closely with senior leaders and key stakeholders across the University, contributing to the coordination of projects, meetings, and strategic initiatives within a dynamic and fast-paced team environment. Key responsibilities will include: Managing the Chief Information Officer’s diary, meetings, travel arrangements, and day-to-day workflow to ensure priorities are met efficiently. Coordinating portfolio-relevant projects, events, and committee activities, including preparation of agendas, minutes, and briefing materials. Preparing and reviewing correspondence, reports, and confidential documentation, ensuring compliance with University policies and procedures. Managing office financial administration, including budgets, reimbursements, and account reconciliations in line with University financial policies. Provide support to the broader ITS Executive Leadership team as required. You possess strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, and can work independently while balancing multiple priorities with professionalism and discretion. You will bring: Degree with relevant experience, or extensive executive support experience with specialist administrative knowledge. Proven ability to provide high-level executive assistance within a complex organisation. Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently across all levels of the University. Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands and meet deadlines. Experience coordinating meetings, projects, and events, including preparation of briefing papers and documentation. Sound financial administration skills, including budget management and account reconciliation. Proven ability to exercise judgment and initiative in resolving or escalating issues appropriately.
