A Metropolitan WA clinic requires a Specialist in Psychiatry for an ASAP start! You will conduct structured psychiatric telehealth consultations for veterans, including: Initial Consultations (10–30 mins): Screening sessions to determine potential service-related conditions and referral for comprehensive assessment. Comprehensive Assessments (approx. 2 hrs): Detailed evaluations requested by the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) or advocates, with evidence-based reports prepared in line with DVA standards. All psychiatrists receive training on reporting standards and induction on the clinic’s booking system to ensure smooth integration. Remuneration: Initial Consultations: $250–$500 per hour (based on experience) Comprehensive DVA Assessments: $1,500–$2,500 per completed report (based on experience) Full Day Rates: Negotiable for multiple appointments or assessments.
