ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a passionate and skilled Literacy and Numeracy Intervention Specialist to join our Inclusion and Diversity Team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring equitable access to learning for all students through targeted, evidence-based interventions that promote growth, confidence and inclusion. In this role, you will: Deliver Tier 2 and Tier 3 literacy and numeracy interventions using structured, evidence-based programs. Collaborate with teachers, Learning Support Officers (LSOs) and the Educational Data Specialist to identify students requiring support and monitor their progress. Provide coaching and guidance to staff to strengthen differentiated and inclusive classroom practices. Communicate regularly with families to share progress and celebrate growth. Contribute to a culture of data-informed teaching and continuous improvement. ABOUT YOU You are a dedicated educator with expertise in literacy and/or numeracy intervention and a genuine commitment to inclusion. You combine a data-driven mindset with warmth, empathy and strong communication skills, fostering confidence and independence in every learner. You will also have: Tertiary qualifications in Education and registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Demonstrated experience delivering targeted literacy and/or numeracy interventions Understanding of Tiered Intervention Models (MTSS/RTI) Strong collaboration and communication skills Desirable: Accreditation to Teach Religious Education (or willingness to obtain) Familiarity with programs such as MacqLit, MiniLit, or numeracy diagnostics including PAT-M and Box of Facts APPLICATION PROCESS Applications must be made through the College website and include: a cover letter a resume and can be addressed to Ms Anna Negro, Principal.
