Overview: • Casual hours starting Semester 1, 2026 – January • Teaching face to face into Associate Degree in Legal Practice (Paralegal) and Advanced Diploma of Conveyancing - BSB60220 • Based at the Melbourne CBD campus but may be required to work and/or be based at other campuses of the University or online. About You Join RMIT as a casual sessional employee and become part of a vibrant academic community. As a casual teacher within RMIT’s College of Vocational Education, you will be mainly responsible for the delivery of course material, assessing students and the supervision of students enrolled in selected courses within the program. You will participate in the program’s continuing review of course content and development, delivery, teaching methods (including online delivery methods) and methods of students’ assessment. Your performance will be underpinned by participation in relevant activities which ensure your vocational competence meets and/or exceeds the education level being delivered and assessed. We are looking for sessional teachers with industry currency and competency to assist teaching into our Associate Degree in Legal Practice (Paralegal) and/or Advanced Diploma of Conveyancing programs. To be successful in this position, you’ll have as a minimum: Hold a Bachelor of Law and relevant industry experience Hold or be enrolled in a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116/TAE40122 or higher) Hold a valid Victorian Working with Children Check (WWCC) Current industry experience in either Law and/or Conveyancing Demonstrated teaching in Vocational Education (preferable) Please Note: Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Victorian Employee Working with Children check.
