About the Job Lead advocacy, investment and innovation for Victoria’s main surveying business association Drive excellence in service delivery and organisation performance Grow the surveying industry’s primary business association representing over 110 surveying companies The Organisation The Association of Consulting Surveyors of Victoria (CSV) represents the private sector of the land surveying profession in the State of Victoria. Victoria’s surveying and spatial data industry is broad-based, multi-disciplinary and at the cutting edge of technology. As a membership-based Not -For- Profit business organisation, we represent more than 110 surveying firms and assist them to stay at the forefront of industry, planning and legislative updates. We offer newsletters, advocacy, seminars and training courses and take pride in our ongoing working relationship with industry, government departments, including Land Use Victoria and the wider Department of Transport and Planning. Preferred experience and qualifications Experience in a senior management and advocacy role is essential. Experience working with and reporting directly to a board. Proven track record in people leadership, strategic planning, business development, and advocacy. Strong strategic thinking and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build and maintain high impact partnerships. Demonstrated success in implementing organisational strategy and driving performance. Strong financial acumen and governance experience with a whole of business leadership approach. Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and for delivering measurable outcomes Relevant tertiary qualifications: Business MBA or related fields Current drivers licence is mandatory Applicants must be either an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid working visa. You will cultivate a value-led workforce by fostering a culture of accountability, safety, wellbeing and innovation. This position requires the ability to balance priorities of member surveying companies with commercial outcomes, embedding service excellence, digital transformation, and change management practices that strengthen workforce capability and organisational adaptability. CSV is seeking a proven, accomplished executive leader with a track record of success. Experience gained in surveying or land development industry is preferred, although not obligatory.
