ALi specialty coffee, breakfast, and lunch daily from 7 AM to 3 PM. Our reputation is built on consistent quality, fresh ingredients, efficient service—and we are a favourite brunch destination for locals and their pups. Role Overview We are seeking an experienced FOH Leader to help manage and elevate our café operations. This role is multi-faceted: from high-quality coffee making, guest interaction, and POS operation, through to staff leadership, rostering, training, and process improvement. You will work closely with the owner to ensure the café runs smoothly, maintains service standards, and continues to grow. Key Responsibilities Produce excellent espresso-based coffee: excellent extraction, milk texturing, and consistency Provide warm, professional customer service and manage POS during service hours Open and close the café, ensuring all tasks are completed to standard Oversee day-to-day café operations: workflow management, stock rotation, and supply ordering Hire, roster, train, and evaluate FOH staff to maintain high performance Maintain management documentation: store programs, hygiene records, and operational folders Plan menus, estimate food and labour costs, manage stock and supplies with accurate record-keeping Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency, service quality, and team satisfaction Skills & Experience Required Demonstrated leadership in a busy café or hospitality operation Strong technical coffee knowledge: espresso machines, gadgets, milk texturing, calibration and maintenance Experience training and supervising staff, rostering, performance evaluation Solid knowledge of food safety legislation, hygiene standards, and safe work practices Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail A long-term team player attitude What We Offer A supportive, friendly workplace that values excellence and respect Opportunities to grow professionally in café leadership and operations Flexible scheduling (full-time or part-time) Competitive pay and staff perks How to Apply Australian citizens or permanent residents are strongly encouraged to apply.
