As our Health, Safety & Wellbeing (HS&W) Officer – Outdoor , you’ll play a vital role in supporting Council’s health, safety, wellbeing, and child safety objectives. This is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact across our outdoor workforce and community. What You’ll Do Partner with teams to implement safety, wellbeing, and child safety initiatives Conduct workplace inspections, audits, and risk assessments Support injury management and return-to-work programs Assist in delivering wellbeing programs and child safety training Maintain accurate documentation and support compliance reporting What You’ll Bring Diploma or Certificate in OHS, Wellbeing, or related field (or significant experience) Return-to-Work Coordinator certification (or willingness to obtain) Strong knowledge of OHS legislation and risk management Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Experience in safety, wellbeing, or compliance roles (local government preferred) How to apply If you’re looking for a role where you can make a real impact and be part of meaningful change, we’d love to hear from you!
