They are now seeking a Project Engineer to join their team and take ownership of capital and operational projects at their site based in East Gippsland, VIC. This role plays a key part in delivering engineering projects on time, within budget, and to scope — helping drive site performance and long-term growth. The Role Reporting directly to the Projects Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing and delivering a range of site-based projects from concept through to commissioning. Your key responsibilities will include: Managing the full program of planned capital works and improvement projects. Delivering end-to-end project outcomes — from feasibility and design through to installation, handover, and commissioning. Ensuring all projects are executed safely, on time, and within budget. Driving project standards and consistency within established frameworks, systems, and processes. Engaging and collaborating with cross-functional teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project delivery. Your Background To be successful in this role, you will bring: A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering (or related discipline). Ideally 3-5 years of proven project engineering experience within a food or FMCG manufacturing environment. A track record of leading multi-disciplinary capital projects from concept to completion. Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across all levels of the business. Solid knowledge of project management methodologies, with the ability to manage, report on, and execute complex capital programs.
