About the RoleWe are looking for a full time Senior Accountant to join our NSW/ACT team based in any of our 5 offices. The successful candidate will be responsible for:day to day file management of insolvency appointments (from start to finish)preparation of statutory lodgementsliaising with directors, employees, creditors, banks, statutory authorities and other stakeholders collection and investigation into recordsprioritize and manage workloads to meet conflicting deadlinesanalyse financial statements and diverse financial datadrafting of reports and preparation of creditors meetingsinvestigations into insolvent trading, voidable transactions and offences committed by officersattending sites to inspect, collect and record assets and books and recordsassisting with Fair Entitlements Guarantee claims and calculating employee entitlements. About youWe are seeking a candidate who has:Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Words, Excel, Outlook)A Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Commerce, Finance or AccountingExcellent communication skills (both written and verbal)CA or CPA qualified (or willing to obtain)ARITA Introduction to Insolvency certificationARITA professional qualification (or willing to obtain)Previous experience in insolvency is required. The successful candidate will be guiding a team and managing a diverse portfolio of insolvency and restructuring appointments.
