WAITPERSON LEADER $30.27 p/h Part Time Higher Duties Australian Outback Spectacular The Opportunity: In this Higher Duties role you will manage, coordinate and oversee your team. You will promote a positive work environment, ensure exceptional guest service standards are delivered, address guest dietary requirements and train and mentor your team. Your day to day: • Coordinate the venue operation including creating floor and meal plans based on guest bookings using the ShoWare system. • Ensure a high level of Food Safety compliance and liaise with kitchen staff on guest dietary requirements. • Provide training for all new and existing team members. • Mentor and develop your Seniors and frontline team through effective performance management. • Conduct annual/probationary reviews for frontline team members. • Maintain appropriate stock levels using the SAP system. • Ensure your team follow the correct processes and procedures, provide top quality service and display a high standard of presentation and cleanliness at all times. • Manage private events as required. • Monitor accurate cash handling procedures. • Report any issues that may affect venue operation immediately to your Supervisor. What you’ll bring to the role: • Currently working in a Senior position • Experience in leading large teams • Comprehensive knowledge of food safety, SAP and cash handling. • Ability to work under pressure and multi-task • Analytical skills and attention to detail. • Excellent communication, delegation and leadership skills. • Willingness to complete further training courses.
