Events Banquet Team Leader $28.14 per hour | Part Time Sea World, Main Beach, Gold Coast The Opportunity We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional team leader to join our growing Events Department. You’ll be: • Working effectively within a team environment to provide excellent customer service • Leading the shift, including task allocation and staff supervision • Demonstrating strong teamwork qualities and an understanding of legislative health and safety • Briefing and motivating the team while displaying a strong work ethic, ensuring the quality of the event is always maintained • Taking responsibility for the setup and pack down of the event • Engaging with Supervisors to develop and improve your area of responsibility • Conducting training and assessing the competency of team members to assist in team development and mentoring • Maintaining transparent communication with the client when required What We’re Looking For Bring your energy, excitement and impress our guests with our one-of-a-kind events. You’ll bring: • RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) is a requirement (valid in Queensland) • Bar Knowledge with the relevant experience is an advantage. • You should be willing to lead a shift and be responsible for your assigned area • Event experience and a keen eye for presentation • Comprehensive knowledge of cash handling and Point of Sale (POS) skills. • Have a positive attitude towards improving guest’s experience • Forklift, RMLV and Manual driver's licence is an advantage.
