St Leonard’s College is seeking an experienced and dedicated English Teacher to join our College community on a part time, (approximately FTE of 0.70), ongoing basis from the start of the 2026 school year. Reporting to the Head of Learning – English, the role will be responsible for teaching English subjects, across Years 5 to 12, in a collaborative and progressive environment. To be successful in this opportunity you will require: Tertiary qualifications in Education. Current VIT Registration. A current knowledge of the Australian Curriculum (English). Experience in teaching VCE and/or International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) English subjects (preferred but not essential). Previous experience teaching within an Independent School setting (preferred). Knowledge of contemporary pedagogy and innovative use of ICT in the classroom to enrich learning. Well-developed classroom management strategies which enhance student engagement and outcomes. Be an active contributor to a collegial work environment.
