St Leonard’s College is seeking an experienced Economics Teacher to join our College community on a part time basis (approximate 0.60 FTE) from Term 1, 2026. Reporting to the Head of Learning – Commerce, the role will be responsible for teaching VCE and/or IBDP Economics in addition to Year 10 Commerce subjects. To be successful in this opportunity you will require: Tertiary qualifications in Education. Current VIT Registration. A current knowledge of the Australian Curriculum (Economics). Experience in teaching VCE and/or International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) Economics (preferred) Previous experience teaching within an Independent School setting (preferred). Knowledge of contemporary pedagogy and innovative use of ICT in the classroom to enrich learning. Well-developed classroom management strategies which enhance student engagement and outcomes.
