You will act as a thought leader of new initiatives shaped by emerging technologies and business requirements. You will lead a small team and work with vendors and partners to support the implementation of strategic and operational technology plans. Your Responsibilities Lead the development of team and business unit plans to achieve strategic objectives; Engage the team to understand and connect with organisational vision and direction; Monitor and report team and vendor performance against team plans, business unit plans, EWON Business Plans and/or EWON’s strategic plan; Act as a role model of EWON’s values and leadership capabilities; Be an active member of EWON’s Senior Leadership Team; Create and maintain an adaptive, inclusive and positive team culture; Engage and motivate team members; Develop and implement annual IT and Data Business Plan with a focus on continuous improvement and emerging technologies. This includes; Applications and data; Infrastructure; Outsourcing of support; Security; and Governance. Contribute to the formulation of longer-term strategic technology plans; Partner with other business units to ensure that their operational needs are being met; Ensure appropriate incorporation of ITIL and other technical standards in projects and functioning of the team; Contribute to the processes for the procurement and ongoing engagement of technical vendors by providing technical insight and business knowledge; and Monitor and ensure appropriate reporting of performance (KPIs) against agreed service level agreements (SLAs). About You Degree qualified in Information Technology, Data Science or a relevant technology/science discipline; Hands on technical skills will be required in the role; Understanding of data mining and modelling; Demonstrated experience developing Business Unit Plans that align with the organisation’s business plan and strategic plan; Demonstrated experience/involvement with IT vendor management (selection, procurement, performance management and exiting); and Demonstrated experience in the scoping, design and development of documented data management plans and data governance frameworks.
